Co-Op Learning with Mrs Emily Teaches
A welcoming place where curious students can learn, grow, and build friendships through meaningful learning experiences.
Designed for homeschool families seeking support, structure, and connection, the Mrs Emily Teaches Co-Op combines engaging academics with a consistent community where students can build confidence and enjoy learning together.
What is the Mrs Emily Teaches Co-Op?
The Mrs Emily Teaches Co-Op is a small-group learning experience where students come together to grow academically and confidently in a supportive, relationship-focused setting.
This is not intended to replace a full curriculum. Instead, each quarter focuses on carefully selected topics in science, social studies, and an elective area designed to spark curiosity and reinforce meaningful skills.
The goal is simple: strengthen learning habits, encourage curiosity, and create a love of learning while building community among like-minded families.
Who It’s For Who it’s for
The co-op is best suited for:
Students who benefit from gentle structure and routine
Families looking for academic support without overwhelm
Children who thrive in small-group, relationship-based environments
Homeschool families wanting accountability and enrichment
Current co-op classes serve students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade in a one-room schoolhouse style setting, creating opportunities for students of different ages to learn and grow together.
What Makes This Co-Op Different
This co-op is intentionally designed to be:
Each quarter is capped at 20 students, allowing every child to be known, encouraged, and supported.
Small
No busy work and no overload. Each quarter has one meaningful project students develop throughout the quarter.
Focused
Students are encouraged rather than rushed. Learning happens best when children feel comfortable and confident.
Relational
Predictable routines create security and help students build confidence over time.
Consistent
My goal is not simply academic growth. I want students to become capable, confident learners who enjoy discovering new things.
