Cancellation policy.

Effective Date: 7.1.2026

By enrolling in tutoring services, reading groups, math classes, or any other educational programs offered by Mrs Emily Teaches, parents/guardians and students agree to the following cancellation policy:

To provide consistent scheduling and respect the time of all students and families, the following cancellation policy applies:

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session may be rescheduled at no charge, subject to availability.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to be charged at the full session rate.

No-shows or missed sessions without notice will be charged in full and will not be eligible for rescheduling.

If a student arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time to avoid impacting other appointments.

Each student receives one complimentary cancellation every six months for illness-related absences. Unused cancellations do not roll over or accumulate. Eligibility resets every January and July.

In the case of additional illness, family emergencies, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, exceptions may be considered.

If Mrs Emily needs to cancel a session, families will be notified as soon as possible, and the session will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time. If there isn’t a convenient time for rescheduling, the family will not be charged for that session.

Policy Changes

Mrs Emily Teaches reserves the right to update or modify this cancellation policy at any time. Any changes will be posted and become effective upon publication.

By registering for and attending services, parents/guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to the cancellation policy.
