Refund policy.

Effective Date: 7.1.2026

By enrolling in tutoring services, reading groups, math classes, or any other educational programs offered by Mrs Emily Teaches, parents/guardians and students agree to the following refund policy:

Payments

All tutoring sessions, packages, courses, and related services must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate or accidental payments

  • Sessions canceled by Mrs Emily Teaches that cannot be rescheduled

  • Special circumstances approved at the discretion of Mrs Emily Teaches

Session Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a tutoring session.

  • Cancellations made within the required notice period may be rescheduled or credited toward a future session.

  • Cancellations made with less than the required notice period are considered a missed session and do not qualify for a refund.

  • Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice ("no-show") is not eligible for a refund.

Package Purchases

For prepaid tutoring packages:

  • Unused sessions after the package completion date are considered a missed session and do not qualify for a refund.

  • Group class packages are not eligible for refunds.

Digital Materials and Resources

Any digital products, downloadable materials, assessments, worksheets, or educational resources provided are non-refundable once delivered.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5 business days using the original payment method whenever possible.

Policy Changes

Mrs Emily Teaches reserves the right to update or modify this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be posted and become effective upon publication.

By registering for and attending services, parents/guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to the refund policy.
